BOOKING:

• We require a 10% deposit on booking

FREE CANCELLATION: 

• Free cancellation 14 days before check-in, if the booking is made during the 14 days there will be a cancellation fee for the first nights stay.

CANCELLATION FEE:

• If you wish to cancel your booking within 14 days for check-in there will be a charge for the first nights stay.
• This also applies to bookings made within 14 days of check-in.
• NO SHOW you will be charged for the full amount of the booking.

BOOKING MODIFICATION:

• No charge for dates changes 14 days before check-in minimum 2 nights.
• If you would like to change the dates within 14 days we will require 1st night non refundable payment.
• If you want to reduce from 2 nights to 1 night you will be charged for 2 nights.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES:

• Check-in is 1500 & Check-out is 1030
• If you would like to arrive earlier please let us know in advance at least the night before, (£2 early parking fee will apply) if you are arriving by public transport you may leave your bags with us at your own risk. your room maynot be ready but we can still check you in and give you your room keys.

PARKING:

• Parking free from 1500 on check-in to 1030 on check-out, (if you would like earlier parking or later parking there will be a charge of £2) this is to cover the extra charges we incur extending the permit.
• if there is no space on the drive please park on the road in any residential ZONE A bays. these are clearly displayed beside the road. there are usually available spaces outside the Guest House or on the other side of the road opposite. if there is none alternative roads are also ZONE A are Trinity Rd, Tennyson Ave, Albion Terrace, Gladstone Terrace and Flamborough Rd.

CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION: 

• Please be aware that all payment cards are pre-authorised 7 days before check-in, this is not a payment and we have not taking a payment. it will show as a pending transaction and may still reduce your available balance. so please ensure you have available funds in your account as the payment will automatically be taken on the day of check-in unless you wish to pay by cash.

PAYMENT:

• We accept card or cash on arrival.
• if you wish to pay cash on arrival please let us know before arrival, there will be a card/credit card pre-authorisation of £50 (damage deposit) this will be released once the room is cleaned.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING:

• we have a NO-SMOKING & NO VAPING in all rooms and communal areas in the property. there will be a £100 fine if there and any signs or traces of smoking.

DAMAGE & ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR: 

• Damage to The Promenade property: We reserve the right to charge individual guests or lead guests for the cost of rectifying damage that has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to our property or structure during their stay. If such damage is discovered during the stay it will be drawn to the guest’s attention. However, if discovered after guests have departed we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore make every effort to keep any costs that guests incur to a minimum. This does include blood/make-up stained sheets and towels. If there are stains on towels or bedding it is strongly advised that you inform us immediately.
• will not be tolerated on these premises and you will be asked to leave the premises without a refund for the remaining nights. and the police may be called.
